Bio: Anders Karlsson is a Sales Engineer with MySQL who has been working with relational database systems for more than 20 years. Anders has had  several different positions over the years, working as Consultant, Sales Engineer, Developer and in Technical support. Anders also contributes to the Open Source community with several projects and has been programming in C for more than 20 years. Among the specialities in the field of RDBMS systems is Performance Tuning, database APIs and SQL standardisation. Beside working with RDBMS systems Anders is also interested in Computer History, European post-war Car industry and many other technical subjects.
