Throughout history, men and women have worked together on technological innovations, but women have not received the recognition they deserved, nor participated as much as they could. We'll talk about the importance of women's participation on technology, the advances developed by them and why these women have been forgotten by history and by us. Also, we'll talk about women's participation and contribution on the Free Software Movement: where they are and what they are doing to increase female participation on technology, specially on Free Software.
