This is a talk around two important and how aspects of MySQL. Clustering with MySQL can be achived in many ways, and for a number of different reasons. This talk is about both why and how to Cluster, what options are available and also includes a demo of a Clustering solution.The second part of the presentation is about Performance with MySQL, which is always a hot topic. This particular talk concentrates on the practical aspects of tuning: What to do and what not to do, and also includes some insight in how MySQL works with regards to optimizations, such as how indexes are used and how the  optimizer works. This talk is for anyone at a MySQL knowledge level around average who wants to learn some new tricks with MySQL, and to know what the options are for implementaion a MySQL based High Availability solution.
