Bio: Øyvind Kolås is the maintainer of GEGL. He is 29 years old, grew up by a Norwegian fjord and is currently hacking on behalf of OpenedHand in London. Øyvind has enjoyed investigating both visual expression and how to make computers generate and manipulate imagery since his early teens. In the evenings, and at night, he creates interactive video installations, music videos, panoramic images, and media manipulation tools of various kinds.
